Karrieretag New Social Media
I attendet the “Karrieretag“ on Monday 10th at the HWR with the topic New Social Media.
I listen to two companies who presented themselve.
First of all Prof. Dr. Frank Habermann gave us a short introduction into the theme “ New Social Media“ . He noted that the publicity of New Social Media increases enormous in the last few years. After that the company "PayPal" was presented by Checkout Experience Consultant Pascal Schreiber and Inside Sales Manager David Neumann.
At last Oliver Albiez, Director of Communications introduced the company “Init“, an internet-full-service-agentur for e-government and digital communications.
The presentation of PayPal was really good, because the atmosphere was really casual and furthermore the informations were interesting.
For example: I didn´t know before that there are so many possibilities to pay with PayPal.
Both companies told us, that nowerdays it is important to make internships in companies and to have experience abroad.
All in all it was a interesting day and i learned a lot.
